Bluff Point State Park
Visitors to Bluff Point State Park may notice something new along the trail! New education signs have been installed at the trailhead and the bluff, highlighting the natural and coastal resources that make Bluff Point such a special place. You may also notice the two Chronolog photo stations in the parking lot and along the lower trail.
Bluff point is the focus of a major restoration project led by the Connecticut National Estuarine Research Reserve in cooperation with the CT DEEP. This project will restore critical salt marsh habitat, improve tidal flow, and make improvements to trails and public access to help Bluff Point remain resilient and accessible for years to come.
